HYBRID MMA SCHOOL
HYBRID MMA School is Craig Strickland and Alex Cook. We are proud to present to you the knowledge we have gained in over 10 years of martial arts experience, as well as bringing you new ideas, techniques and drills we also learn and update our own bank of knowledge.
Together we have trained with, and competed against some of the worlds greatest coaches and fighters in all areas of martial arts including:
Ian Freeman (UFC veteran/Cage Rage Light Heavy Weight Champion)
Geoff Thompson (Best selling author/Greco Roman Instructor/Judo/Self Defence)
Georges St Pierre (UFC Welter Weight World Champion)
Peter Constantine (Combat Association/Karate/Self Defence Instructor)
Amongst others....
Craig is a Brown Belt in Wado-Ryu Karate under Ian Abernethy, and is a member of the British Combat Association. We are both members of the British Judo Association and compete on a regular basis.
Alex has over 8 years experience in MMA and has trained in various styles and clubs including Tai Jutsu Kai, Dragons Thai Boxing under Tommy Collins, Davies Total Fighting Systems, Wolfslair MMA Academy under Mario Sukata Neto, Hokushinko Fight Academy. As well as training in Thailand in the Sassiprapa Gym in Bangkapi. Alex has competed in 16 MMA bouts at Light-Heavy Weight and Middle Weight and is the current War in Workington Middle Weight Champion.
